The RACE+ ski helmet (FIS approved) was designed using the latest Uvex production methods. The manufacturing method +technology guarantees a high level of protection fusing the thermoplastic polymer and injected EPS. The result: a particularly strong and durable ski helmet that is also amongst the lightest.
FIS Standard
The Fédération Internationale de Ski (FIS) has established specific certification requirements for helmets used in competitions.
To comply with FIS specifications, the helmet must comply with European (EN 1077 A) and American (ASTM 2040) certifications, all part of a protocol of severe tests.
These helmets are identified by a specific non removable “FIS” logo placed on the helmet.
